Health & Hygiene Awareness Programme
Dr. P.V.T. Primary Girls’ School (E.M.) organized a Health & Hygiene Awareness Programme on 15th June 2026 for the students of Standards VII and VIII.
The seminar was conducted by 12 representatives from United Heart Foundation and Kamakhya Foundation and was attended by around 600 students along with 15 teachers. The informative session lasted for one and a half hours and focused on promoting healthy habits, personal hygiene, and overall well-being among students.
The resource persons sensitized students about the importance of cleanliness, disease prevention, menstrual health and hygiene, preventive healthcare measures, and the use of biodegradable sanitary pads. Through interactive discussions and engaging activities, students gained valuable knowledge and practical guidance for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
The school sincerely thanks the facilitators for their insightful session and dedicated efforts towards creating health awareness among young learners.
