The school had organized Mock drill session executed on 5th August 2025 (Tuesday) in our school under the guidance of Mr Narendra Pal Head of “Fire and Safety” department of our institution.
All the students from 1st to 8th (total 2418 students) along with 18 teaching staff and 4 non-teaching staff took part in practice session of mock drill under the guidance of “Fire and Safety department”.
A safe and secure environment is a prerequisite for any institution, where ensuring safety of children, teachers and staff members during disasters is of outmost necessary.
How to leave the building: Students learned the safest way to get out quickly. The evacuation was conducted floor wise. Front and back staircases were used systematically.
Where to meet: Assembly points already exist in our campus. The guidelines were given for gathering at a special spot. Classes evacuated from front staircase gathered in front of school and Classes evacuated from back staircase gathered near the garden.
Students of 5th to 8th (total 1300 students) gathered at Bajiguri open theatre to take training of how to use fire extinguishers of different kind. 10 students, 18 teaching and 4 non- teaching staff took practical training of it under the guidance of Mr Gadvi Sir and Mr Vijay Patil Sir along with their 15 members.
Precautionary measures: – Fire alarms should be tested regularly. Make sure fire extinguishers are readily available, regularly inspected. Ensure all hallways, stairwells, and exits are free from obstructions and clearly marked.
