A Grand First-Ever Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration at Dr. P.V.T. Primary Girls’ School!

Dr. P.V.T. Primary Girls’ School, Vanita Vishram, Surat, celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with devotion, tradition, cultural vibrancy and immense enthusiasm.
The auspicious celebration began in the morning at around 8:00 a.m. with the Ganpati Sthapana Poojan by the English Medium (E.M.) section in the school building. The traditional rituals were performed with devotion, seeking the divine blessings of Lord Ganesha for wisdom, happiness and prosperity.
This special initiative was jointly undertaken by the respected Principals of the English Medium and Gujarati Medium sections, marking the first-ever Ganesh Chaturthi celebration at Dr. P.V.T. Primary Girls’ School and making it a truly memorable occasion.
The celebration came alive with a graceful traditional welcome through Lezim Dance, followed by a vibrant Marathi Lavani Dance Performance, beautifully showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Maharashtra.
The occasion beautifully blended devotion, tradition, culture and togetherness, creating joyful and unforgettable moments for the entire school community.
In the evening, at around 4:30 p.m., the Ganpati Visarjan was carried out by the Gujarati Medium (G.M.) section within the school building, amidst Aarti, devotional chants and the joyous spirit of “Ganpati Bappa Morya!” The Visarjan marked the beautiful culmination of the day’s celebrations, with prayers for wisdom, happiness, prosperity and well-being for all.
